Lumina Journal is the annual online and print publication of the Sarah Lawrence College Graduate Writing Program.
The journal is run entirely by graduate student volunteers, led by senior (second year) MFA candidates and supported by junior (first year) MFA candidates. At the end of each spring semester, as the senior staff graduates, a new executive board is selected from incoming second year MFA students.
We accept submissions from everyone regardless of age, nationality, or school affiliation, with the exception of current Lumina staff members. Print submissions are due mid-September, while online submissions are due mid-October. Submit your work using Submittable. For further guidelines, visit the Lumina website.
