The Performing Arts Center, or the PAC, is home to our Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Program and the College's largest performance spaces. Theatre students have access to a variety of performance and learning spaces ranging from a 198 seat theatre to a 40 seat Blackbox Theater.
The Suzanne Werner Wright Theatre
The Suzanne Werner Wright Theatre is a proscenium-style theatre, offering a traditional yet flexible space for main stage productions.
The Cannon Theatre
The Frances Ann Cannon Theatre is a 90 seat, multi-level theatre and classroom. The Theatre is inspired by Shakespeare's Globe, and students have been known to try out new and experimental productions there.
Downstage
Downstage is a forty-seat Blackbox Theatre and classroom. DownStage student producers administrate and run their own theatre company. They are responsible for all aspects of production, including determining the budget and marketing an entire season of events and productions.
Open Space
OpenSpace is a 60 person capacity, blackbox classroom, video and green screen studio.
Costume and wardrobe Shop
In costume design classes students will become familiar with all of the various tools and equipment in the costume shop and wardrobe areas. Student start off learning the basics of designing costumes and will cover various concepts and ideas, such as the language of clothes, script analysis, the elements of design, color theory, fashion history students will become familiar with all of the various tools and equipment in the costume shop and wardrobe areas.
