Stereophonic, the Broadway play written by David Adjmi '95, won the New York Drama Critics' Circle award for Best Play; the award was decided on the first ballot, with 11 of the 21 votes cast. The news comes on the heels of Stereophonic becoming the most-nominated play in Tony Awards history, having received 13 nominations including Best Play.
