On Saturday, March 23, Sarah Lawrence students, alumni, and employers gathered for The Internship Initiative Program hosted by the Office of Career Services. Students heard from employers about their internship programs, and current students and alumni shared stories about how their internship experiences impacted their time at SLC and their success after college. The event started with an employer/alumni panel discussion, and ended with an informal networking reception—a valuable opportunity for students to learn about available internship positions and make professional connections. The event was sponsored by the Kathy Yeu and David Nigro Endowed Fund for Career Development, and is just one of many special events held by Career Services to connect students with alumni and employers to best prepare them for life after SLC.
