This Educational Series hosted by the Sarah Lawrence College Graduate Program in Human Genetics will discuss the experience after the diagnosis for patients with rare diseases and for genetic counselors who care for these individuals. The series will move through the current state of therapeutics in the US, examples of disorders with well-established therapeutics, ethical and logistical challenges with access to therapeutics, and the explore the patient experience. Lastly, the series will attempt to project some possible future challenges and technologies related to rare disease therapeutics. REGISTER HERE.
