89th Undergraduate Commencement
Sarah Lawrence College held its 89th Undergraduate Commencement on Friday, May 19, 2017, under a tent on the South Lawn in the shadow of Westlands. A joyful crowd gathered to celebrate the Class of 2017's 355 bachelor’s candidates. Writer, director, and producer J.J. Abrams ’88 delivered the keynote address.
Graduate Hooding & Commencement
Sarah Lawrence College held its Graduate Hooding & Commencement on Thursday, May 18, 2017. Friends and family gathered to watch 150 master's candidates from the College's nine graduate programs receive their degrees. Educator, artist, and activist Jamal Joseph delivered the keynote address.
Winter Commencement
On Wednesday, December 13, 2017, Sarah Lawrence College held its Winter Commencement, welcoming 17 candidates for the Bachelor of Arts degree and one candidate for the Master of Fine Arts degree in Writing to the Class of 2017. These students completed the requirements for their degrees in the fall 2017 semester.
