A space for planning, where it all happens
The Student Organization room will be a game-changer in the culture of student life. The present arrangement of having student club spaces (and the administrative staff that support them) located in Bates, on the extreme north end of campus, presents a challenge to students, especially those who reside in Hill House on the extreme south end of campus. Students and student life staff anticipate a renewed energy and opportunities for exciting synergies by having the planning space located in the Barbara Walters Campus Center, where so much of the programming being planned—meetings, town halls, open mics, coffee-house concerts—will take place. We are inviting families, past and present, to come together with gifts to collectively support the creation of this Student Organization Space.
