Recognizing the rights and responsibilities shared across race, class, and culture.
Sarah Lawrence Magazine—Fall 2018
The world is shrinking. Information zips across the globe in a nanosecond. Market fluctuations in China resonate in Chattanooga. Never have we been so connected. So why are so many countries turning inward? The time seems right to explore what it means to be a global citizen today. In this issue, we catch up with Sarah Lawrence faculty and alumni whose work has taken them from the Amazon rainforest to the West Wing of the White House, from the fight for human rights to the defense of our environment.
