The Sarah Lawrence Library only accepts books from faculty, staff, and students. Any items that are not added to our circulating collection, may be added to our Student Book Share program or given another home. The Library only accepts material in good condition. Please remove all sticky notes and tabs before donating. The Sarah Lawrence College Library will not take:
- DICTIONARIES
- ENCYCLOPEDIAS
- THESAURUSES
- MOLDY ITEMS
- DAMAGED/MARKED ITEMS
- ITEMS WITH EXTENSIVE WRITING/HIGHLIGHTING
- PERIODICALS (JOURNALS, MAGAZINES, ETC)
- INCOMPLETE COLLECTION OF VOLUMES
- ANY OBSOLETE MEDIA (CDs, CD ROM, VHS, LPs, etc.)

Any faculty, staff, or students who wish to donate should contact Christi Osterday, our Head of Access Services at costerday@sarahlawrence.edu to arrange a drop off/pick up.
