Matriculated students may not enroll in less-than-full-time programs unless there are special circumstances that have been approved by the Dean of Studies Office. In such cases, students will be charged according to the number of credits registered.
Maintenance of Matriculation Fee
Students on leave from the College, or on an off-campus year, who wish to maintain their matriculation status are charged a fee. For students on voluntary leave without studying in other programs the fee is $400 per semester. Students studying in non-Sarah Lawrence programs in cities where Sarah Lawrence runs its own program will be charged $2,000 per semester. Students attending programs in cities where Sarah Lawrence does not offer a study abroad or exchange program will be charged a $750 matriculation fee each semester. Cost of Attendance 2024–2025
Cost of Attendance (COA) is made of up of direct and indirect costs. Direct costs are charges billed to you by the Office of Student Accounts. Indirect costs are estimated expenses associated with being enrolled at the college that you will not be billed for. This total COA figure is used in the determination of financial aid eligibility.
