Scope and Contents note
The collection consists of correspondence, newspaper and magazine articles, and flyers relating to various student groups on campus such as the Coffee House, the Student Entertainment Committee, the Sarah Lawrence chapter of the ROTC, and WSLC, the College Radio Station. Of particular interest is a 1948 analysis of the composition and impact of the student organizations and a transcript from a discussion that aired in 1940 between faculty and students, entitled “Democracy in Relation to Education.” Beginning in the 2000s, the collection becomes primarily born-digital.
