Since retiring from teaching art in the NYC public schools five years ago, I have somehow become that “Crazy Quilting Lady!” I bought my first machine four years ago and haven’t looked back. My whirlwind journey started by taking all kinds of classes to learn the traditional quilting techniques. Now I’m working on all my own designs and patterns-and having the best time!

This is a one block wonder quilt-made from 6 identical quilt panels. I wanted it to feel like you’re experiencing a kaleidoscopic event in the universe. I do all my piecing and quilting on my domestic machine.
