After SLC, I continued my art education primarily at NYU, and The National Academy School of Fine Arts in NYC. My work, chiefly paintings in oil or acrylic, has appeared and won awards in numerous local and national art exhibitions. In 2022, I moved from the NYC area to Naples, Florida. Florida piqued my interest in landscape, and in returning to a more realistic way of painting than I have painted for many years. The painting in this show is a view of Pfister's Pond in Tenafly NJ, as it was years ago. It is a transition piece -- I began it before my move, while living near Tenafly, and finished it after moving to Florida.
