Donna Letterese '06

Donna Letterese graduated from Sarah Lawrence College in 2006, and from the MFA in Illustration Program in California State University at Fullerton in 2022.  The image shown here for this virtual exhibition is called "The Mountain Pika," a graphite illustration of a small mammal that can be found in the Northwest, as well as a pun. Donna loves drawing plants, animals, and telling stories with pictures, whether that's with urban sketching, comics, illustrations, artist's books, or a combination of the above, teaches Cartooning virtually for the Barnsdall Art Center in Los Angeles, and teaches Cartooning and other Art Classes virtually/in person at various art centers in the greater Seattle region, where she is now based.
