Moore is an oil painter working from her studio in Maine with a focus on industrial landscapes and work structures among her painting obsessions. Her interpretations tell stories of how our work has always defined our use of land, our development, and our history. She paints her subjects at this moment before they fall down or are replaced by the next wave of development. She highlights too, when they are repurposed for new use. Her process is slow, with limited haptic & tactile ability, balance, and stamina from 25 years of living with Multiple Sclerosis. She is constantly adapting new methods for making art and reworking each piece over years sometimes until the story feels true.
