I’m from Mumbai, India.
What made you choose to attend school in the U.S? What kind of challenges and opportunities did that present?
I wanted to study at a liberal arts college where students can personalize their projects, they get to explore multiple academic interests, and get a lot of individual time meeting with professors to develop their projects.
What made you choose SLC?
The seminar style classes, conference work, and the flexibility to take classes across multiple disciplines.
What kinds of extracurriculars have you participated in?
I’m on the Women’s Softball team, my friends and I started the Bronxville Rotaract club, and I am a member of the STEMinist society. What advice do you have for international students applying to SLC? Students should get involved in campus life! This is one of the best ways to identify one’s extracurricular interests and also a great way to establish your community on campus and make friends.
