Senior Gift
What is the Senior Class Gift Campaign?
The Senior Class Gift is a tribute to the College from the graduating class—this year, the Class of 2010. With their gift to the College, students thank SLC for the opportunity to learn and grow in a collaborative environment where they are encouraged to embrace great intellectual and personal challenges. Graduating seniors have come to know who they are, what matters to them most, and how to succeed in the world without compromising their convictions.
The Senior Class Gift Committee spends the first semester developing the campaign to invite all their classmates to join them in making a gift. The result includes the perfect Sarah Lawrence mix of creativity, thought, and dedication. Senior Class Gift Committee members (all volunteers) call, write, text, and party with classmates to invite them to make a gift to SLC in honor of the Class.
Senior Gift 2009
The 2009 senior gift campaign was very successful, with strong support from many members of the senior class and their families. Gifts donated by the Class of 2009 helped Sarah Lawrence support the faculty…upgrade technology and the library…maintain the beautiful campus…provide financial aid to the classes of 2010, 2011, and 2012. Their effort serves as a wonderful testament to the generosity of the Class of 2009 and speaks highly of the value the graduating class places on their SLC education.
Who Can Contribute?
Students from the Class of 2010 can begin leaving their legacy on campus through their contribution. Contribute now!
Parents may contribute to the Senior Gift to honor their graduating senior’s accomplishments. The College’s Fund for Sarah Lawrence would be extremely grateful to receive a gift, in honor of the graduating senior, which will enhance the senior’s Sarah Lawrence education throughout this final year, and as a young graduate next year.
For parents seeking more information or to make a gift, please contact Elise Schramm via e-mail or by phone at (914) 395-2536.
